"Verve" - We chose this word to represent our company because it represents the essence of who we are.
Verve is a Boston (Newton, MA) graphic design, visual communications and internet marketing firm providing a comprehensive range of high-performance, strategic graphic design and marketing services for local business.
Verve employs a team of six, working for a client list that includes many well known (and not so well known) local businesses including; DePrisco Jewelers, The City of Gloucester, and Legal Sea Foods, who has been a daily Verve client since we opened our doors ten years ago.
Verve is owned and operated by Mike Ciolino, a local designer, branding and internet marketing expert. Mike has been working in the greater Boston area for more than 25 years. He is a native of Gloucester, MA, and a 1985 graduate of the University of Lowell, Mike studied design at Northeastern University, The New England School of Art & Design and the Museum School.
Believing in a community approach to business, Mike serves on advisory committees for the Art Institute of Boston, Newton North High School and is a board member for The Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce where he was recently awarded volunteer of the year.
Mike publishes a blog, speaks publicly and frequently writes on web development industry trends for IN-Business, the monthly publication of the Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce. His design work has recently been featured in Boston Magazine's May 2008 issue, for the article Branding 101.
